Managing Director, Human Resources
Mona leads the global Business Partner team for CPP Investment Board, an advisory function which plays a critical role in the overall development, execution and success of CPPIB’s talent management practices.
Prior to joining CPPIB in 2013, Mona held various regional and global HR roles in the wholesale banking sector, based in the United Kingdom, Canada and United States.
Mona earned an MBA from McGill University as well as a B.A and B. Education from York University.
Managing Director, Head of Public Affairs
Lisa Baiton oversees both the international and domestic public affairs programs at CPP Investment Board. She has over 20 years experience in progressively senior executive leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining CPPIB, Lisa served as Vice President and Practice Lead, Government Relations for Environics Communications Inc., a North American full-service public affairs firm where she provided executive-level counsel to large corporate clients. She has also worked for one of Canada's largest industry associations, the Canadian Bankers Association, and for senior Cabinet Ministers and a Premier within three governments (Saskatchewan, Federal, and Ontario).
Originally from Saskatchewan, Lisa has a BA in Political Science (University of Saskatchewan), and a MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University) and the Schulich School of Business (York University), with global electives completed at Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. She is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) Directors Education Program at the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto). She is an active volunteer, currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Canada-China Business Council and on the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada’s Toronto Asia Advisory Group.
Managing Director, Head of Business Planning & Enterprise Risk Management
Susan leads the business planning function and oversees the enterprise risk management framework for the CPP Investment Board.
Susan brings over 20 years of experience in the pension and investment industry including 14 years at Manulife Financial where she was on the Senior Management Team of the U.S. Retirement business and for the last three years, was in the corporate office as the Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management. Prior to joining Manulife, Susan held pension plan consulting roles at both Towers Perrin and Watson Wyatt (now Towers Watson).
Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of Toronto, is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Managing Director, Head of Global Capital Markets
Kevin is responsible for leading CPP Investment Board's Global Capital Markets team and ensuring the efficient management of the passive portfolio, as well as best execution services for all publicly traded securities.
With more than 25 years of financial industry experience, Kevin possesses extensive international trading experience, product knowledge, and investment experience in the global financial markets, including 12 years with Goldman Sachs, & Co. in New York, Tokyo, London, and Toronto. Previously, as a Senior Advisor, he provided strategic and operational consulting services to established as well as start-up hedge funds. Additionally, he was Partner and COO of Lucerne Capital Management LLC, an SEC-registered investment advisor with global operations.
Kevin holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan and B.A. in Mathematics from Carleton College.
Managing Director, Natural Resources
Prior to joining CPP Investment Board, Jeff was Vice-President, Strategy and Business Development at BHP Billiton PLC in London. Previously, he had a range of senior corporate development roles at Enron Corp and spent several years as both an investment banker and consultant to natural resource companies.
Jeff holds an undergraduate degree in applied mathematics from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Managing Director, Head of Funds, Secondaries & Co-Investments
Jim is responsible for leading CPP Investment Board’s Funds, Secondaries & Co-investments group. He had previously led CPPIB’s Principal Investing group.
Prior to joining CPPIB in 2004, he worked in the Investment Banking group at Merrill Lynch & Co., focusing on companies in the media and telecommunications sectors. Previously, he was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group at RBC Capital Markets and a Commissioned Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Royal Military College of Canada and an International Master of Business Administration degree from the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business.
He currently serves on the boards of NEWAsurion, LHP Hospital Group and Cequel Communications. He is a former director of AWAS Aviation Capital, IMS Health, and Kinetic Concepts.

Managing Director, Information Technology
Chris leads the CPP Investment Board's Integration Management function, which focuses on the development of the cross functional investment and operational capabilities required to support CPPIB’s long-term objectives. He also oversees program prioritization, delivery and governance.
Chris has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services sector and was most recently Director, Architecture and Technology Services at CPPIB. Prior to that, he held increasingly senior technology responsibilities with firms including Blackmont Capital, HSBC Securities and Merrill Lynch
Chris earned an M.A. from Queen’s University and a B.A. (Hons) from McMaster University.
Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure Americas
Prior to joining the CPP Investment Board in October 2007, Bruce led the private markets infrastructure team at OPTrust. Previously, he spent a number of years working with Macquarie Bank in London and Toronto in corporate finance after having worked in investment banking at RBC Dominion Securities.

Managing Director, Head of Investment Risk
James is responsible for leading the Investment Risk function within CPP Investment Board with accountabilities for the measurement, analysis, and oversight of risk across all of the investment portfolios.
Prior to joining CPP Investment Board, James worked for BMO Financial Group where he held a number of increasingly more senior roles over a 13 year period. Over the last several years as a Managing Director, he had responsibility for the global risk oversight, valuation, reporting and analytics, and infrastructure functions within the Market Risk group.
James holds a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Toronto.

Prior to joining CPP Investment Board in December 2004, Jennifer worked at MWI & Partners, a Canadian middle market buyout fund, and Merrill Lynch & Co. in investment banking in Toronto and structured finance in London.

Managing Director, Head of Private Equity Asia
(Hong Kong Office)
Suyi is a founding senior member of CPP Investment Board Asia and is currently responsible for leading Private Investments in Asia with a focus on Private Equity Funds & Direct Investments.
Suyi joined CPPIB from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan where she focused on private equity funds & co-investments in Asia, Europe and the U.S. Prior to that, she was with The Carlyle Group making direct private equity investments in Asia. Suyi also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. and an auditor at Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
She received her MBA from Stanford Business School and a BA from Seoul National University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Managing Director, Head of Relationship Investments
Scott leads the team responsible for making significant minority investments in public companies seeking a constructive, longer-term relationship with the CPP Investment Board. He has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services sector. He joined the CPP Investment Board’s Private Investments department in 2005 as a Senior Principal in the Infrastructure Investing group. Prior to that, Scott was an investment professional at Onex Corporation and held various positions in both finance and operations at GE Capital Real Estate and GE Plastics.
Scott holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen's University, Canada.

Managing Director, Head of Talent Acquisition
Rosemary leads CPP Investment Board’s Talent Acquisition team, which is responsible for recruiting talent for all CPPIB offices globally.
Rosemary joined CPPIB after more than seventeen years at McKinsey & Company, where she spent six years as a consultant, then over eleven years in several global talent management roles including candidate assessment, campus and experienced hire recruiting, talent branding, and most recently, consultant leadership development.
Rosemary holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, an MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, and a BA from the Ivey School of Business.
Managing Director, Head of Portfolio Value Creation
Paul is responsible for leading CPP Investment Board's Portfolio Value Creation group, supporting management of the individual investments in creating value for the Private Investments portfolio.
Paul has over 16 years of experience in commercial and operational improvement. Paul was most recently part of the portfolio team at Permira Advisors LLP. Prior to this, he was a Partner and Managing Director at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he was head of the Private Equity practice for the UK and was responsible for advising firms on multiple transactions as well as driving strategy and operational change.
Paul holds an MA/MChem from the University of Oxford.

Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Investments Europe
Andrea is responsible for CPP Investment Board’s European Real Estate Investments. He joined CPPIB’s London office in 2011 as Director, Real Estate Investments for Europe and has been responsible for real estate investments on a pan-European basis and in India.
He has more than 15 years experience in real estate investment, holding senior positions at real estate private equity and investment firms. Prior to joining CPPIB, Andrea was European Chief Investment Officer and Director of AREA Property Partners.
He holds an MBA from Insead and a BS in International Economics from the School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University.

Managing Director, Head of Secondaries & Co-Investments
Prior to joining the CPP Investment Board, Yann worked at Paul Capital Partners in private equity. He previously worked at CIBC World Markets and at JP Morgan Chase.

Managing Director, Head of Short Horizon Alpha
Chris joined Global Capital Markets at CPP Investment Board in 2008 focusing on active management programs. He is currently responsible for developing shorter term active strategies on a broad range of assets including fixed income, currency, equity, commodities, volatility and credit.
Chris has over 15 years of investment and trading experience with both domestic and international institutions. Prior to joining CPPIB, he was Managing Director Securitization and Structured Finance at BMO Capital Markets, Co-Head Structured Finance at Scotia Capital, and traded exotic options and derivatives at Citibank.
Chris holds a degree in Engineering Physics from McMaster University and an MBA from Queen’s University.
Managing Director, Head of Investment Finance
Karen leads CPPIB’s Investment Finance team, supporting both Private Investments and Real Estate Investments on a global basis. Her team is responsible for providing operational support to the investment groups, financial reporting and analysis, valuations, as well as most recently, governance and management of CPPIB’s non-investment legal entities.
Karen has over 20 years experience in leadership roles providing financial, strategic and operational management and advice. Karen spent 12 years at CIBC in both Retail and Wholesale Banking including a role as Vice President Finance, World Markets supporting Private Investments, Investment Banking and Commercial Banking.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Memorial University of Newfoundland and is a Chartered Accountant. Karen was awarded a Provincial Gold Medal upon obtaining her CA Designation.
Managing Director, Head of Portfolio Management
Geoffrey leads the CPP Investment Board's Portfolio Management group, helping manage the systematic risk and allocation of active risk across the active investment portfolio.
Prior finance roles include positions with Fannie Mae and Capital One Financial, where he managed the global balance sheet. He also ran a consulting practice and was Adjunct Professor at American University Kogod School of Business.
Geoffrey holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
Managing Director, Head of Latin America
(São Paulo office)
Rodolfo is responsible for leading the CPP Investment Board in Latin America. Based in São Paulo, Rodolfo covers all aspects of CPPIB’s mandate, including our Latin American advisory relationships, and provides active leadership and coordination of our activities in these markets.
Rodolfo has 21 years of consulting with Bain & Company, of which the past 14 years have been in Brazil. Most recently he was Practice Leader, South America Financial Services, at Bain & Company establishing the Financial Services practice and building it into a market leader. Prior experience includes Deutsche Bank Commercial and Corporate Banking in Spain and Germany.
Rodolfo holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School in Philadelphia, USA, and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Buenos Aries in Argentina.
Managing Director, Head of Principal Credit Investments
Adam is responsible for CPP Investment Board’s Principal Credit Investment program (formerly Private Debt). He joined the CPP Investment Board in 2009 and has been a member of the Principal Credit Investment group since its inception. Adam is a member of the Private Investments Investment Committee and Credit Investments Committee.
Prior to joining the CPPIB in February 2009, Adam was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Americas Special Situations Group (“AmSSG”) in New York and Toronto. In this role he was responsible for the group’s Canadian energy effort focusing on both debt and equity investments. Before joining AmSSG, Adam worked in Goldman’s Investment Banking Division in New York where he was a part of their Financial Institutions Group (“FIG”).
He currently serves on the boards of Laricina Energy, Teine Energy, and Blackhawk Mining (observer).

Managing Director, Head of Thematic Investing and External Portfolio Management
Poul leads the team responsible for selecting and managing relationships with external managers across a wide range of active mandates.
Poul has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the CPP Investment Board, he was Chief Investment Officer of Fund and Manager Selection at Nordea Investment Management. He was also Chief Investment Officer of Andra AP-fonden (AP2) which manages approximately $30 billion within Sweden’s national pension plan framework.
Poul obtained his undergraduate and Masters Degree in Economics and Finance from Aarhus University in Denmark.
Managing Director, Principal Credit Investments
Prior to joining the CPP Investment Board, David was a partner and portfolio manager at GoldenTree Asset Management. David founded and ran GoldenTree’s London office and was responsible for their European investments. Prior to that, David worked at Morgan Stanley for 10 years where he worked in their Mergers and Acquisitions department, Investment Banking in Hong Kong and finally in Fixed Income, where he was Associate Director of High Yield Research and a multi-year Institutional Investor All-Star analyst in the Media, Satellite and Cable sectors.
David holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was an all-conference rower.

Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Investments Americas
Peter is responsible for CPP Investment Board’s real estate in the Americas which currently encompasses investments in Canada, the US, Mexico and Brazil. Prior to his current role, Peter lead the investment teams for the US and Brazil. Peter is also a member of CPPIB’s Real Estate Investment Committee which has oversight for CPPIB’s global real estate investments.
Peter has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining CPPIB in 2007, Peter worked with several leading real estate companies including Canderel, Brookfield and TrizecHahn.

Managing Director, Head of Europe
Alain is responsible for leading the CPP Investment Board in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Based in London, England, Alain covers all aspects of CPPIB’s mandate, including our European advisory relationships, and provides active leadership and coordination of our activities in these markets.
Alain has been based in London since 1998 and has more than 21 years of financial industry experience. Prior to joining CPPIB, he was most recently Managing Director at Goldman Sachs & Co. in their Investment Banking division in New York and London. Prior to that, he was an Associate at the New York-based law firm, Sullivan & Cromwell.
Alain holds a Bachelor of Law from Laval University in Quebec City, a Masters in Law (D.E.S.S.) from the Sorbonne in Paris and a Masters in Law from Columbia University.

Managing Director, Head of Investment Advisory, Structuring & Business Management
Prior to joining the Private Investments team at CPP Investment Board Andrew was CEO of HBOS Canada. In a banking career focused on international and corporate banking Andrew was: head of HBOS’s corporate finance activities in Continental Europe with teams in Germany, France, Spain, The Netherlands and Sweden and the bank’s European head of credit. Andrew also ran HBOS’s infrastructure equity fund. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers in Scotland.

Managing Director, Head of Tax
Kristina heads CPP Investment Board's Tax team which is responsible for providing oversight and guidance for international tax related strategy, risk management, investment support and compliance for CPP Investment Board. Prior to joining CPP Investment Board in 2010, Kristina practiced international tax at KPMG where she advised global organizations. Her professional career included lecturing on international tax topics of interests to Canadian companies investing abroad.
Kristina holds a B.Comm from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Accountant.
Managing Director, Head of Direct Private Equity
Shane joined the CPP Investment Board from Bridgepoint Capital Limited in London. Prior to Bridgepoint, Shane was a partner and founding member of Hermes Private Equity’s direct investing business until its transition to Bridgepoint in 2009. He had also previously been an Associate Director with Morgan Grenfell Private Equity in London.
Shane has a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from INSEAD.
He currently serves on the boards of Livingston International, 99 Cents Only Stores, The Gates Corporation and Air Distribution Technologies.

Managing Director, Head of Private Real Estate Debt
Martin heads the Private Real Estate Debt investing team at CPPIB Credit Investments Inc., a subsidiary of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB). In addition to his real estate debt responsibilities, Martin also serves as a member of CPPIB’s global investment committees for all real estate equity transactions and all forms of credit investment.
Since joining CPPIB in 2005, Martin has led the development of a number of new investment programs, making CPPIB’s first real estate equity investments into the U.K., France, Germany and Australia, before founding the Private Real Estate Debt group in early 2010.
Prior to joining CPPIB, Martin held transactional roles in the real estate investing, commercial lending and investment banking industries, based in the UK, Canada and the United States. He holds a B.A. (Honours) in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, in Scotland and an M.B.A. with emphasis in Real Estate from the University of California, Berkeley.

Managing Director & Head of Infrastructure
Cressida is responsible for overseeing CPPIB’s significant global infrastructure program. Prior to joining CPPIB in 2014, Cressida was the Managing Partner of 3i’s infrastructure business, leading deals in a variety of sectors.
Cressida holds a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from St. John’s College Oxford and an MBA from the London Business School.

Managing Director, Head of Principal Investments
Mark oversees CPP Investment Board's direct private equity, principal credit investments and natural resources investment programs.
Previously, he was Managing Director, Co-Head of Leveraged Finance Origination and Execution for Barclays Capital in New York. Prior to that, he spent over 11 years at Goldman Sachs & Co. in senior positions within Fixed Income and Financing Groups in New York. He also held senior finance roles at Laidlaw Inc.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University and is a Chartered Accountant.
He currently serves on the boards of Wilton Re, Teine Energy and Merchant Capital Solutions.

Managing Director, Head of Investment Operations
Malcolm leads CPP Investment Board's Investment Operations team within the organization’s Operations and Technology Group. His team is responsible for providing operational support to our Public Market Investments division, managing operational risks, and promoting scalable solutions in order to sustain our growth. Apart from this, Malcolm leads Business Continuity Management, Operational Due Diligence and Process Re-Engineering.
Malcolm has over 25 years experience at Scotia Capital and The Bank of Nova Scotia, which includes operational management, project management and re-engineering, trading and operational risk management experience, and three years as an Assistant General Manager of Risk Management. Malcolm’s last assignment was within the Global Equities Division of Scotia Capital as Director of Business Planning and Chief Operating Officer.
Malcolm holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure EMEA
Prior to joining the CPP Investment Board in October 2008, Andreas worked for twelve years in investment banking for Citigroup and Schroders, providing M&A and capital markets advice to clients in the infrastructure and utilities sectors. He also held positions as principal investor at Siemens in Hong Kong and Germany, and as project finance banker at Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) in Frankfurt.
Andreas graduated from the London School of Economics with a Bachelor of Science (Econ) and went on to obtain an M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics and a D. Phil., both from Oxford University.

Managing Director, Head of Sustainable Investing
Stephanie oversees all of CPPIB’s sustainable investing activities, including direct and collaborative engagements, proxy voting and the integration of environmental, social and governance factors across all of CPPIB’s investment activities.
In a prior role at CPPIB from 2002 to 2012, Stephanie was a Senior Principal in the Private Investments department. In that role, Stephanie was instrumental in building CPPIB’s private equity funds portfolio, developing its global private equity funds strategy and participating on numerous fund Advisory Boards.
Prior to joining CPPIB in 2002, Stephanie was principal of Ludwick & Leaist Inc., a corporate consulting firm. She also practised corporate/commercial and securities law with McCarthy Tétrault, and earned her Chartered Accountant designation with Coopers & Lybrand.
Stephanie holds her Bachelor of Commerce and Law degrees from the University of Toronto.
Managing Director, Head of Global Tactical Asset Allocation
Alistair is Vice-President and Head of GTAA. Alistair joined CPPIB in October 2008 as a Senior Portfolio Manager in GTAA, managing the Tactical Asset Allocation portfolio, and leading the Portfolio Management and Research team and then the Portfolio Construction and Research team.
Prior to joining CPPIB, Alistair spent 10 years at UBS Global Asset Management in London where he was a Portfolio Manager, responsible for both an absolute return macro fund, and for the asset allocation within traditional, long-only, balanced portfolios. Prior to joining UBS, Alistair spent 6 years working as an economist at the Bank of England (the UK’s Central Bank) in the Monetary Analysis and International Divisions.
Alistair has a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Leicester, a Masters degree from the University of Manchester (both in the UK), and is a CFA charterholder.
Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Investments Asia
(Hong Kong Office)
Jimmy is responsible for CPP Investment Board’s real estate in Asia. He has over 20 years real estate experience in Asia having worked out of Singapore, South Korea and currently based in Hong Kong. Prior to joining CPPIB in 2008, Jimmy worked with several leading real estate companies including ING Real Estate. He was responsible for setting up ING Real Estate’s business in South Korea.
Jimmy holds a First Class Honours in Bachelor of Science (Estate Management) from the National University of Singapore and a Masters in International Management from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Managing Director, Short Horizon Alpha
Chris joined Global Capital Markets at CPP Investment Board in 2007 focusing on fixed income programs. The initial focus was on passive portfolio management but as the active investment mandate expanded his responsibilities increased to include active credit and interest rate strategies. He is currently responsible for the active credit and interest rates portfolio in the Short Horizon Alpha area as well as developing cross product strategies spanning equity, foreign exchange, interest rates, credit and volatility.
Chris has over 20 years of investment and trading experience in both European and North American markets. Prior to joining CPPIB, he spent over 12 years with TD Securities as part of the Credit Products Group trading vanilla and structured credit primarily out of London. Chris also spent 3 years with Price Waterhouse in Toronto.
Chris holds a Bachelors of Commerce from Queen’s University and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He also holds the Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst designations.
Managing Director, Head of Organizational Development
Kathy leads a team focused on building relevant employee, leadership and organizational capabilities critical to grow a sustainable global investment organization.
Within CPP Investment Board, Kathy was previously responsible for leading the Human Resources Business Partner team which supported the Investment Departments (Private Investments, Public Market Investments and Real Estate Investments) as well as Total Portfolio Management. Prior to joining CPPIB in May 2007, Kathy worked with Xstrata (formerly Falconbridge Limited) in various roles including leading Human Resources in their global nickel business and Organizational Development.
Kathy holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Managing Director, Business Management
Mark Roth leads the Business Management function for the Public Market Investments Department within CPP Investment Board. As a member of the PMI management team, Mark oversees the non-investment financial and operational aspects of CPPIB’s business. In this role, he manages and executes the strategic and financial objectives of the business, and partners with CPPIB’s Legal, HR, Finance, Analytics, and Risk groups to ensure appropriate and coordinated support for the organization.
With 30 years of experience in diverse financial roles, Mark brings both broad and deep experience in the operational, finance and risk aspects of CPPIB’s business. Prior to joining CPPIB, he was most recently Chief Global Market and Operational Risk Officer at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. In addition, he has held senior positions at Bassini Playfair Wright (New York and Sao Paolo) and Deutsche Bank (London and New York). Before his investment career he held management-level positions in the service industries.
Mark also serves as Immediate Past President of Hadassah Associates, a 35,000 member global non-profit organization focused on healthcare, education and social services.
Mark is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Yale University where he earned a B.A. in Economics, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Managing Director, Head of Internal Audit
Prior to joining CPP Investment Board Barry was a senior partner in the Risk Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young, where he provided public and large private entities with assurance, regulatory, risk management and internal audit services in Canada and the United States. He has over 20 years of experience, including enterprise risk management and internal audit within the financial services sector.
As Head of Internal Audit, Barry leads the team of professionals who execute the mandate on behalf of the audit committee of the Board and senior management.
Barry holds an Honours BA from York University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. He is a CA and a CPA, as well as a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors Program.
Managing Director, Private Real Estate Debt
Geoffrey heads the Private Real Estate Debt for Americas investing team at CPPIB Credit Investments Inc., a subsidiary of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB). In addition to his real estate debt responsibilities, Geoffrey also serves as a member of CPPIB’s Real Estate Investment and Private Debt Investment Committees.
Geoffrey joined CPPIB Credit Investments Inc. in 2010 to help develop and implement our current private real estate debt strategy. Geoffrey is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing a broad range of real estate debt products including mortgage, mezzanine, and preferred equity loans secured by high quality real estate assets in markets across the Americas and is also responsible for helping expand the program into new markets.
Prior to joining CPPIB, Geoffrey spent four years at RBS Greenwich Capital and was a board member of RBS’s Global Real Estate Finance Group responsible for its US debt portfolio. Geoffrey started his career at JPMorgan where he held several real estate finance related roles in NY and London departing as head of real estate capital markets.
Geoffrey holds a B.A. (Honours) in Urban Development from the University of Western Ontario and a Masters in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

Managing Director, Head of Treasury Services
Cheryl leads the Treasury team within CPP Investment Board's Treasury, Risk, Operations and Technology Group. Her team is responsible for cash management as well as treasury and funding services across the portfolio.
Cheryl has more than 16 years of experience in the financial services sector and was most recently Vice-President, Corporate Segment Finance at TD Bank Financial Group. Prior to that, she held increasingly senior roles at TD Bank Financial Group and at Canada Trust, before its acquisition by TD. Her responsibilities have ranged from funding strategy and treasury accounting functions to oversight of bank-wide liquidity measurement, compliance, monitoring and regulatory and Board reporting. Prior to joining Canada Trust, she held roles at Price Waterhouse and Denison Mines.
Cheryl is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
Managing Director, Head of Quantitative Investing
Jay leads CPP Investment Board's Quantitative Investing group in GCS within the Public Market Investments department.
He has over 20 years experience in the field of quantitative investments. Prior to joining CPPIB in 2010, Jay was a co-founder and Chief Investment Officer at Vyas Capital Management. Before that, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Portfolio Management Process in Barclays Global Investors' Alpha Strategies Group, a portfolio manager at Martingale Asset Management, and he worked at Barra Inc. where he began his career.
Jay holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a CFA Charterholder.
Managing Director, Head of Fundamental Investing
David joined the CPP Investment Board in September 2012 in the role of Vice-President, Head of Fundamental Investing within the Public Market Investments department.
Prior to joining CPPIB, David held the positions of Chief Investment Officer, Global Value Long and Short Equity Strategies, and Co-CIO and Director of Research, U.S. Large Cap Value Equities at Bernstein Value Equities, Alliance Bernstein LP.
During his tenure at Bernstein, David also held various roles including Director of Research – U.S. Large Cap Value Equities and Director of Research – Emerging Market Value Equities.
David began his career with Bain & Company in Boston and then joined William Kent International to develop emerging markets initiatives where he was promoted to Partner. He then joined the Coleman Company to develop a business strategy for growth in China, ultimately acting as Senior Vice President, Managing Director, Coleman Asia Limited.
He holds a B.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University, New York, N.Y.
